"Be aware that when using a Cab-1, Legacy locomotives will be set to 32 speed steps "out of the box." You can change this by addressing the locomotive and using the hidden buttons under the cover at the bottom of the Cab-1. Pressing "L" sets the locomotive to 32 speed steps and no momentum, pressing "M" gives it 100 speed steps and no momentum and pressing "H" gives it 100 speed steps with momentum. Once set, the speed steps/momentum will remain in effect until changed. I set my Legacy locomotives to "M" for what that is worth. "
