need help with Wifi DCS and TMCC cable

I have an older style TIU with the serial port connection instead of the USB connection. I attached my DCS Wifi unit to this port removing the cable which runs to my TMCC base. How can I connect both units to my TIU base? Thanks for any suggestions.
