Backpacker kudos Mike. Thanks for the diagram on the TAS EOB pinouts. The VO 1000 I have does not have a tach strip on a flywheel so i'm thinking it is not a EOB (cruise) equipped loco. the saw is a V1.5. 43 was the magic number to wake it up. I have a Weaver pdf that address the EOB equipped Weavers and also uses 43 as the R2LC number to use. Is there another? Reason I asked is that I have a complete board set purchased from a member (2 railer) that had no use for it. It is out of a 3rd rail Pennsy K4. BTW the cruise mb matches your diagram. Question..can a EOB setup be used on any DC can motor or do I need a tach strip and pickup to get it working? Thanks for saving me a lot of time and effort.

Richard  EOB requires the tach strip.
