Have you tried running the engine yet? If you are using motors that were for another engine, the chances that the worm gear is not correct for that engine and will bind. If it runs smooth with the shell off, you got very lucky. Call Midge at MTH and tell her you need a motor for a SW1500. Much thinner flywheel.
