Then don't join the green tracks to the clear tracks on either end of the platform. Instead, attach some jumpers to the tracks on one end to supply power to the platform. The jumpers should include a quick disconnect like the one in the 2nd photo.
I used the Quick Disconnects and guide pins, the kind you see on dining room tables, on the lift out bridge I made to cross over the same type of āUā shaped layout. They are inexpensive and work quite well.
