On the bay,they can be had for $8 to $12 each if you catch a supplier dumping them. When I make up circuits for people I generally charge $8,my cost. Copled with relays virtually any timer function can be made. There are other timers (see Infetec on my blog 180 seconds) but the Mars are very common and available.
