The ACMC boards were used in the conventional classic series with AC motors. The one shown above was used in the Burlington GP7 diesel, ( and others ) which didn't have smoke, so whether the smoke output is active, you will have to test. The 4-6-4 and 2-8-4 use the same board, so the smoke output may work.
