Well funny thing happened back in the 1990s when Soo Line ran a thru train on the NS's ex NKP line. One Mothers Day I saw the Soo coming through Cleveland's west suburbs and in the left seat of an SD60 standard cab, was a silver haired elderly lady with silver hair. It sort of made the Weaver model realistic after that.
I have seen a few lady crew members on both CSX AND NS.Not surprised by that any more.

Definitely not surprising to see females on the crew, but not very elderly ladies in their Sunday best, as was the only point of my post.
