Reply to "New Hope & Ivyland Railroad"

Hay Alex,

I caught the pics of your B&B show with NH&I R.R. which were great.  I believe they may have changed their name to just New Hope R.R. Your pics & flics puts me back to the days that I was a fireman on #40 (Steam Loco) back 8 years ago. After turning 59, my body couldn't take that kind of physical work (shoveling) any longer and I guess one might say it was the "end of the line". Frank Vopasek or Brian Oxie or Mark Gratten may have been engineer that day and all 3 guy's are great engineers. Frank tells me that they have added another run around track to the line, so they manage to run 3 trains on the same line. I had a great time there and wished that there was more time to continue doing what I did. Thanks Alex for re-kindling some great memories of my passion!

Yes Rich, Ross is an engineer there, usually around Christmas he comes in. Firing for him makes for very "interesting" runs, don't ask me how I know this!
