Reply to "New Hope & Ivyland Railroad"

The NH&I has offered longer rides like to Buckingham Valley, Warminster, and even Lansdale although mostly with diesel power. There were steam runs to Buckingham and Ivyland in the past. Yes, they are kind of expensive and the lot in New Hope charges to park. They now have rides out of Lansdale usually in August and last year they had rides from North Wales as well with 40 at the north end and SEPTA diesel at the south end. Apparently SEPTA is more receptive to hosting excursions than NS and Amtrak are now. NS and Amtrak are basically closed to chartered excursions now.
