Anyone use asphalt impregnated board for sound deadening? I am in the process of painting it and I am getting 128 sq ft to a gallon of paint. My real question is do I need to paint both sides? The board is made from an asphalt emulsion and I'm concerned if not coated that it could dissolve the foam board underneath it.
