My next plans for the layout are to build the mountain & then paint it. once that is done, I will add the dyed sawdust ground cover - classic postwar look.

Don't get me wrong - the scale stuff is cool too, but it was missing "something"

plus the failure rate of these new trains was costing me a lot of money & headaches. My last few layouts were Hi Rail, but The postwar & MPC stuff is what I grew up with.
