I just picked up my new PRR Atlantic as well. I just wanted to confirm so I don't harm a new engine, you add about 20 drops initially to the hole where the whistle smoke comes out, correct? Has this been working for you guys that have this engine?

Yes, that is correct. The manual is wrong, add fluid directly into the smoke hole.
