I just received my new Legacy 990 March 26, 2012. I hooked it up on Tuesday. I didn't even put the rechargeable batteries in it that came with it!!! At the time I happened to be recharging some rechargeable "Duracells" for in our outdoor solar lights. So I used 3 of them!!! So far I haven't had any problems with them.
