I boosted the lighting in a MTH Country Church. Although not an "old" building, the factory-original bulb wouldn't cast enough light through the peaked windows after I installed "stained glass" acetate strips to the windows. I wanted to show off the stained glass, so I added two add'l bulbs. Much better!
