I am ordering the Amtrak E8 pair. Lionel, great job on this pair! Two of the very first units! I always wished Amtrak had adopted this proposed scheme. And the patched Seaboard unit, that's how it was. As Amtrak began its attempt to rebuild a network abandoned by its predecessors, it quickly started branding a new network. Historic units here. Curious whether Lionel will paint over the porthole windows as shown or plate them over the way Amtrak did due to corrosion around the windows? I assume the portholes will be there, I am ok with that, but if they plate them over like the real one I will be impressed by Lionels efforts!

I would have ordered the Conrail mechanical reefer but I do not want nor have ever heard of one that smokes... at $199, no thanks. Sell me a regular one I will buy it. Same with all the domes. Get rid of the forced camera and I am a customer. Also, more black widow SP, come on, give us one shot at SP bloody nose F units just once for the FIRST time in O scale history across all manufacturers! All manufacturers repeatedly pump out black widow and daylight SP paint. Could one of you just throw a one time bone out with just ONCE a set of bloody nose SP in GM covered wagon F or E units?
