Just for the heck of it - I was curious - I looked up the Frisco 4-8-4's in Collias' book Frisco Power, to find out that only 3 of these locos were indeed oil-burners - 4500, 4501, 4502. You probably already know that.
Four 4-8-4's were preserved, per the book, and, oddly, 2 of them were oil-burners (4500 and 4501), and, to make matters more annoying, 4524 is indeed preserved, but it's a coal-burner.
Oh, well - the model is of an ATSF 4-8-4 and tender anyway. How accurate could the "Frisco" version be?
