I just had a KCS SD70 with some missing grips. It works fine. But thats an issue, and was one out of 7 perfect SD70s i just got. In addition to the two perfect u33s, got up sw7, again perfect, then 2 gp9s were perfect, and one sd45, perfect. So 1 issue/13 engines last month...
We hear alot of noise here, and i too get engines that had issues in shipping, but the ratio i have experienced is an issue about 10 percent of the time. Looks like you are similar...
