Anyone please feel free to correct me. I believe 4014 did not have the componentry a to heat passenger cars, therefore it was used for freight use. As far as the experience car, I think you’re referring to excursion, correct? If between those two sets of cars, excursion or Challenger you may want to look at some threads or topics describing the differences between the two. I take it from what I’ve read, that the challengers are done better. If you stay prototypical, freight cars. You can purchase them one or two at a time and that will help your budget.
