New MTH 30-20182-1 Subway Issues

Does anyone have any complaints about the new MTH r17 Subways. Just received mine yesterday and the build quaility seems to be pretty cheap, the Engine Unit gets very hot on the top, and the couplers stick open. Anyone else with these issues?
