Mark, looking good and I have a suggestion about the plywood. Baltic birch is very stiff as well as pre finished plywood. I have some 1/4” and it is very rigid. Another alternative is MDF. Easy to shape and cut. Sorry to hear about your dog passing, but glad you’re new addition is settling in.
