In this case I think the models will be picked up. Usually I single or double box and use styrofoam peanuts. Sometimes I think if an item can move around a little it is less apt to shock damage.

I thank you. When I am building the models and putting on the stairways I can here the sounds of the 1/4 scale men walking up them.
