New subway door issue

One of my R-27 cars had one door open than it stayed open. All the other doors worked fine. When the shell was removed, one of the dog bones had popped out of the shaft sleeve. Upon further looking it seemed the sleeve had slid back a tad on the shaft. Now the sleeve is made of a hard plastic and since it was on the shaft that was connected to the drive motor; it would not be wise to try to pull it back. So the fix is really simple.
one remove the motor involved (remember there are shims under the motor) and then remove the dog bone in question. Insert the dog bone and cut a small amount of 3M electrical tape (cut enough to rap the sleeve multiple times) aft this is done rap the tape with a few strands of copper wire, twist until tight and then one rap with tape around the wire. Place motor back in car and then connect the dog bone to the door operator and poof it works fine . One thing place a very small drop of glue on the back of the sleeve and let it dry this will lock it in place.
