New to Lionchief

Hi all, I have always built my layouts using conventional power. I have found TMCC, Legacy and DCS too complicated and cumbersome. However after reading some of the online reviews and watching some YouTube videos I think that I will dedicate a level of my layout to Lionchief. I have a few questions:

I use a Z4000 for powering my conventional trains. I know that Lionchief does not like anything higher than 18v. I can't see the volt meters on the z4000 so I don't know when the handles are set to 18v. Can anyone recommend a power supply that has a fixed 18v output? Someoen on another forum suggested a Lionel 6-12938, however I think the fixed output is 14v.

Another question I have is about the standard remote included with Lioncheif and LionChief locos. Does it have a digital display or is it all buttons? If it does have a display will I be able to use it even though I can't see the display?

Lastly, are there plans to offer Lionchief conversions for older locos?

thanks

Frank
