Reply to "NEW WILLIAMS BACHMANN 4-6-2 Semi-Scale Pacific Locomotives at WWW.PATSTRAINS.COM FREE SHIPPING"

I'd recommend this little engine for certain applications.  While it is "semi scale" and a bit smaller than prototype USRA Pacifics, I got one many years ago when K-Line made them, painted in Milwaukee Road's Hiawatha color scheme.  This was a correct paint scheme on the Milwaukee when, from about 1936 until around 1940, they painted a number of Pacifics, without streamlined sheathing, in the bright orange, maroon and gray.  The Milwaukee's Pacifics were a bit smaller than the USRA variety, and so it looks pretty close to scale and heads up some of my secondary passenger trains.  I had TMCC command control installed, along with a nice sound board and then I changed the trailing truck to an inside frame (deVoe) trailing truck like the "road" had for most of their Pacifics and Mikados.

I hope that Williams chooses to do this engine once again, in the "Hiawatha" colors, for those of you who might have missed the chance some 15 or 20 years ago.
