At the show it was said the S scale dealers would be in a seperate room, if that is correct, there will be the same amount of O scale dealers.  I would like to see the show get a modular 2 rail layout in there.  I have been told the gentleman that has the layout we used to see set up in the Indy area is dealing with some personal issues and its unknown if the layout will ever get set up again.  Maybe someone that knows can see if he is willing to pass the flame and we try to find someone else to get that layout to a few shows.  I would if I could, but its beyond my means right now.  I would like to become active and have my own personal module though.  Mike

if you can make a modular layout happen, i am in! if you're thinking of the cantor/palz/harper layout, that is portable, not modular. modular means we can all build them and bring them together

i have 6 straight 4 foot modules ready to go. they are covered with p48 track now, and no scenery, but i would rip it all up and do ow5 if it meant others would join. i found out that 24 feet in o scale with #10 turnouts only gets you a 24 foot mainline with a 8 foot passing siding.

we showed them in Chicago a few years ago. zero people ran home to get started joining in.
