Reply to "Nickle steel boilers - banned by the ICC. Why?"

Al - Aha! Found in "Canadian National Steam, Vol 7 , Rosters", the following: "In a move to provide higher boiler pressures without increasing engine weight, silicon steel boilers developed by the Carnegie Steel Company of Pittsburgh were utilized". This is in the description of the CNR's first 4-8-4's of 1927, which followed the Northern Pacific's by only 7 months.
