It is not suppose to happen, but more and more recently I have seen this with the later ERR stuff. A buffer is a transistor with some current limiting resistor that has to be home made. It seems ERR stuff only work with ERR sounds set or else the later RS5 for the CCM. If you do a search you will see several post on this. I would call ERR first and talk to them explaining what has happed and see what ken says. G
