I know classification lights can only be changed using Legacy. There is no way to change them if you are running with Bluetooth and the app.

Also, is the item # 2233061? If it is the description of the locomotive features you are reading appear to be a copy and paste from a steam engine so I would not go by the description on lionels website. I know a lot of the legacy steam engines has classification lights that can be color changed to white or green but only using the legacy remote. I have one locomotive defaulted to green and one defaulted to white. I do not have Legacy so I can not help you with how. I just leave them the color they are. I'm thinking you can not change the color of the number boards on your diesel but maybe someone with a legacy diesel will chime in and clarify.
