NS at one time had trackage rights over the FEC. They ran the Intermodals to the Port of Miami, mostly at 1-2 AM. As far as i know, they don't have trackage rights anymore. The FEC now runs the hotshot intermodals. It's too bad, cause then I'd have a chance to see the Heritage engines. As far as the FEC selling out to NS, i don't think that will happen anytime in the near, middle or far future.
