Hudsons had eight and twelve wheel and centipede tenders, all with straight sides - never a Vanderbilt.
Same problem with those two tone gray heavyweight dining and observation cars. Both HW cars were long gone before NYC began using that color scheme on other than streamlined cars.
You forgot that they run on three rails…
