If N-1 and N-2 are the same/original NYCTA locomotives, I remember the day they were delivered by the NY Dock RR to the TA in Brooklyn. Had to be late 1970's and I was taking/trading color slides at that time. Paint scheme was different then though, possibly YELLOW of SOUTH BROOKLYN RWY or maybe the new TA BLUE/GRAY.

N1 and N2 are South Brooklyn Railway.  They wore a few different paint schemes.  But they wore the red with the SBK the longest.  The bottom pic is of #12 which I beleive N! and N2 were delivered in
