Photographing these TA diesels was always an effort.

 

Had opportunity to ride in back of TA maintenance truck once in Brooklyn...just to get pictures in TA yard. It must have been odd to see TA truck driving slowly up and down the access roads by tracks with a guy popping up now and then. Cost me 2 6-packs and some pizza but I got some great photos!

 

Not that it was TA, but do you remember Pouch Terminal's Mack diesel? I was able to get to run it one day, well at least for about 100 yards at the Pouch warehouse terminal. Really liked the ship wheel logo.

I never had the opportunity to see the Pouch Terminal Mack   I have seen many pictures of it.  This was one of my favorites  It's a little Porter Engine that switched G&R packing in Bay Ridge.  This was taken from the 7th ave. overpass on the Sea Beach
