My favorite "rare gem" engine is my Lionel B&O 2-8-0 from 2008. Great detail with a good soundset , TMCC, and my best running engine to date (I'm pretty sure Lionel snuck in an ERR Cruise Commander without saying), all for the great MSRP of $450. If they ever rerun it in Legacy I'll be a buyer.
