Very ineresting thread, thank much for sharing! I, like a lot of folks, model the steam/diesel transition era so I am most interested in the early 8,000 gallon types, and I have a few of them. Atlas has offered umpteen different paint schemes, but I am waiting for a Texaco tanker. Anyone out there know why they have not offered this well-known paint scheme? Licensing issues, perhaps?
