As previously requested, here are a couple videos of the Rockford O Scalers Pennsylvania Railroad T-1 4-4-4-4 running on the layout. The model is by Sunset 3rd Rail and is the “middle version”, i.e. it has some skirting removed but retains the pilot “portholes”. The PRR built two prototype T-1s and fifty production locomotives. The prototypes had a more pointed nose than the production models along with pilot portholes and lots of skirting. As the production models aged, they lost the pilot portholes and more skirting and gained a small second headlight in the front radiator. Sunset 3rd Rail did all three versions and our club is lucky to have one of each version. We will post videos of the other two (prototype and late version) in the near future.
