These OVERLAND models are very nice and very detailed but are extremely poor runners. The SAGAMI can motor pictured in your model is one of the worst piece of junk available in the train market. Their gearboxes are not much better, either.
You could try replacing that motor with a 8xxx series PITTMAN or contact Jay Criswell and go for the ultimate propulsion system that he designed for these models. It is not cheap, but you will be happy with the results.

Thank you Yves I will indeed it doesn't drive well at all and the noise I tried with grease honestly it's actually really junk this gearbox rolleyes but the model is worth to change it all, thanks again for the information.
