Overland Big Blow 30

It was in the planning for a long time, finally now some time to tackle this turbine I know on my forum this one you seen before but now disassembled because it also had a gearbox problem like the U50C not so bad but some noise. I bought this one a few years ago but I think it was never run before was completely new. This time it works about the grease I use, the motor is gigantic never seen that large. What I do like is all the hoses between the turbine and diesel unit that is a lot what you see on the pictures but not every hose is on it have no more unfortunately. I tested it with all that in turns and yes they stayed in place of course there will be also a airhorn on the roof it was in the box silver but it must be yellow on the cab. If I go to weather this one I don't know yet I like it as the way it is now.

Funny that you are working on your Big Blow Turbine. I actually started working on mine a few days ago. I have the first version, which is a monumental piece of crap, from a running perspective. Details are not too bad, but extremely fragile and not up to the second version (that you have).

I am transforming it completely, changing everything on the running gears and on the chassis. Major endeavor....I am not sure I will get to the end of it. If I do, I will try to publish an article in one of the O scale magazines.
