O27 Switches with Menards Track

Hello Folks,

I just purchased and received a small quantity of Menards O31 track; I considered it an excellent value and it gave me an excuse to avoid reconditioning all of the rusty old O27 Marx and Lionel track I inherited.

I'm away from my equipment for a few days, but the thought just occurred to me that the Menards track sits higher up than the old stuff. I have two sets (right and left) of what I assume to be O27 switches in the old track pile, although I haven't yet done anything with them yet. Can the O27 switches be adapted to work well with the Menards track? If not, what type switch will I need to ensure compatibility with the Menards track?
