Odd behavior of PS3 E8

This is the PS3 E8 ABA set. I was running just the lead engine, not sure if that in itself is the problem. I apply track power, start the engine and it goes thru its startup sounds. Then it shuts down and the remote says "Maintenance Required". It does this anywhere on the layout. I'm pretty sure I have run the engine by itself before with no problems. When I get home from work, I will try resetting the engine, or perhaps delete it and add it back in.

Has anyone else experienced anything like this? I am using a Z4K and Atlas nickle track. Other PS3, PS2, and Legacy engines run fine.
