Reply to "Odd behavior of PS3 E8"

The following evening I put the engine on the track with the slave unit (AA). It started up fine and ran perfectly!?

With engine/slave sets, can you run the leading unit alone? Hopefully this was just a fluke, or if it's going to malfunction, it happens under warranty!
