I thought it was quite noticeable that the portion of Charlie Ro's booth that displayed locomotives facing the outer aisle was pretty much HALF American Flyer S-Gauge this time.  That was NEVER the case at prior shows.

 

Perhaps dealers are just trying to "differentiate" themselves a bit at York, rather than battle it out all selling the same stuff -- at which point price becomes the only differentiating factor in a flea market atmosphere.  Can't blame that, as that's gotta get old very quickly. 

 

SideTrack Hobbies does something similar by largely bringing Tinplate products to York instead of their line-up of O-Gauge items that they carry year-round.
