OGR Run 269 photos...Amazing!

I received my copy of run 269 the other day and was amazed by the article "Appalachian Railroading Down in the Hollow" pages 38-51.

Joey Ricard has created a stunning narrow gauge layout. The scenic modeling and hand crafted structures are great.

I couldn't make those structures if I tried as I'm a "Open the box and plop it on the layout" kinda guy.

I have one extremely small nit to pick and I'm only asking if I'm seeing what I think I'm seeing.

On page 44 the "Slaty Fork" station is shown. The wall right behind the red-wheeled baggage cart looks like the clapboards are upside down?

Page 47 shows another view. My thoughts are that oriented this way the clapboards won't shed rainwater?

Don't get me wrong...this modeler is one of the best I've seen in this magazine.

Please don't kill the messenger here...I'm just asking the question.

I hope I'm not violating any rules by scanning in one of the photos and attaching it to this post.
