What looks like a turnout is actually an extension of the mainline to connect Norfolk to Suffolk as in these photos:

Thanks for the response! That is an interesting feature as well, for sure!

I should have been more clear though. The turnout (at least I think it's a turnout) is boxed in red below.

BTW, like the sawmill in the new pics. That is really cool too!
