Been connecting Atlas track to Ross turnouts for years using Atlas joiners. On Ross turnouts, I cut the stringers and push the end ties back if necessary. Once the ballast is down you don't really notice the tie differences. The trains like it just fine. On Gargraves track, simply push the tie back and shave out the webbing under the rails' "base".
