Reply to "Old Marx Switchman's Tower"

Yes, the Marx 424 Radio Control Tower was quite the clever accessory.  A diaphragm inside it worked a switch which could interrupt the track power.  When the operator spoke into the tower, the diaphragm would operate the switch, stopping or changing the direction of the train.
