These units displayed at the GM pavilion in 1939 fulfilled an order from the Seaboard Railroad . They were delivered following the 1939 season of the fair. seaboard was the first railroad to dieselize its name trains back in the 1939-40. They probably worked the Silver Meteor train to Florida.
