Old Style AF Track Gone for Good?

Based on the latest catalog, it appears Lionel is dropping the old style AF track they inherited from K-Line in favor of 'S' FasTrack. Does anyone know if someone else will be getting the tooling for the AF/K-Line track sections? Or is it completely gone, leaving used track at the train show the only source now??
