Haven't the RC model airplane/drone flyers tackled this problem when doing the 'first person video' flying? I know nothing about what the quality of that video feed is nor where it is on the 3-dimensional axes described by H1000 above. I've done a bit of fooling around with a Hero Go-Pro and my iPhone, but I claim no expertise.
