That's more the type of error people used to (maybe some still would) pay money for as a variation or error. (wonder if it was the only one or maybe there are a few sets of them out there?). It's definitely not across the whole production run, and it's just a "miss" on decoration, not a random scratch, broken piece, etc.
That assumes it is in decent shape otherwise and not suffering from any of the quality type issues thoroughly documented in the other threads.
